NovaStar’s VX400s-N is a compact all-in-one controller that unifies video processing and control capabilities. With 4 Ethernet ports and support for up to 2.3 million pixels, it delivers output resolutions as wide or tall as 3840 pixels.
The device provides extensive input options (HDMI, DVI, SDI, optical fiber) and outputs through four Gigabit Ethernet ports, two fiber ports, and an HDMI monitoring port. It supports up to 2.6 million pixels with a maximum resolution of 10,240×8192 and includes a self-adaptive optical port that can act as either input or output. Audio is supported via HDMI input and a multifunction output card. Additional capabilities include low-latency performance, two adjustable layers, synchronized output across cascaded units, stepless scaling, input cropping, and automatic brightness adjustment based on ambient light.
It also supports up to 10 presets, multiple hot-backup options, mosaic input, and cascading up to four units. With three working modes (controller, fiber converter, bypass), the device offers comprehensive color adjustment, pixel-level calibration, and flexible operation through V-Can, NovaLCT, or the front-panel controls.
